After much contemplating and procrastinating, I have decided to try and get back into things here on Livejournal. I miss posting pictures and such. I doubt anyone will be reading this again but maybe I can rekindle all those el jay friend relationships I once had. Anyway, I've actually been posting regularly but kept it all private. So I'm just going to pick up where I left off years ago. Life is grand. This past summer was the best to date. I feel like it's barely ending. The past year has been filled with new love, new friendships, new places, JPL lectures, Museums, zoos, shows, twins, babies, coffee, Star Wars conventions, late nights drinking and smoking, movies, studying more than usual, new jobs, drag races, costumes, and much much more. I just looked over that 8 films to die for festival that comes around this time every year. I have to say, I just watched the previews for all eight movies and was not compelled to see any of them. I love horror movies but all these look pretty lame. I think I'll see American Gangster tomorrow night. I have high hopes for this movie! Ugh I just got really tired. I have so much chemistry to do and not enough time to complete it all. This is still more fun. So on Thursday, i'll be working one night for Leo's mom. I get to go to the magic castle and check in the guests of the event she's planned. I'm excited. I get to dress up and everything. I'm totally going to feel like Heidi Montag for a night. At least I don't have to worry about a Spencer. Lately, Tony and I have spent our afternoons before school/work looking around the SFV for a house. Yes, that's right, my Tony is looking to buy a house. I drive around for hours with his all across the grid lined streets of Northridge looking for a decent house that can be flipped and sold. I can't wait til he gets it. I've always wanted to demo a house. I want to spend saturday mornings planting grass and painting cupboards. This entry is everywhere! I guess I have to start somewhere. That's pretty much all that is happening in the life of me for now. I work Friday night. Big surprise. I'm cocktailing. I think I'll dress up and really try and rack in the big bucks. Anyone have any alcohol-selling tips? I'll need them. Saturday I'm completely free. I should study but I'll probably end up staying in playing the sims and watching The Flight of the Conchords. Who knows, I'm really a free bird at this point. and to keep it interesting...Meet Tony, BF-F.

I'm desperately going to try to update this more often. School started again. My classes are nice, my teachers are nice...the weather is getting nice. Everything is nice right now. saw Cake/tegan and sara/ Gogol Bordello the other night and totally rocked it while standing next to WEIRD AL and his cute little wifey. Amazing show (mostly, because of Cake) Jenny Lewis and the Watson twins in April...i'm thinking i may want to go. birthday t-minus 8 days. I have this feeling that it's going to be the most uneventful birthday ever...which i suppose is no surprise since that is what 20 years old usually is: uneventful. We'll see. Someone just take me to City Walk so i can ride in the fake NASCAR cars. I'm taking up reading again for this year. I really havent updated in a long time. So, now i am. Well, Thanksgiving was fun. Work is retarded. and school is thankfully, almost over. I think i'll take a class at COC over break so i don't have to work full time. Being a server isnt as fun as i anticipated but its a good way to make money fast and that is what i need. I need to get out of this little town. I don't know where i'll go, but it will be okay. these next two weeks i really need to get my act together for school. finals are dead ahead. Next semester will be even worse. 17 units are going to haunt me. This post is really pointless and i just want these next two weeks to fly by because im looking forward to Joelifer 2005. So take that Tomkat; Brangelina; and Bennifer. Does anyone else think that the conjoined name thing is annoying? because i think it is. Anyhow, this is Hobie, from Baywatch. Look at him now. WELLLLLLLLLL ive had two red bulls on an empty stomach. I need to study pretty much all night for my stupid Sociology test. I actually went to my TA's study session and he said i was the first person to come in like two years. always a good sign. He had nothing to offer me and basically told me that the test is going to be very hard, its not worded well and i'll probably fail unless i know exact details. perfect! So, now i start my wonderful all-nighter. If your in SOC 150 with Rich MWF 10AM meet me in the library at 9AM tomorrow...studystudystudy. P.s - I need a Halloween costume. My two cute little Japanese friends from work - Masami and Yoshiko have informed me that every year all the servers wear their Halloween costume to work around Halloween and all the customers vote on who's is the best...$$$ prizes. So i need a worthy costume. Help a sister out... My ideas: Harry Potter; Zorro; Go-Go Yubari; Elvis; Lara Croft; Jasmine (Aladdin); a Stewardess; a Pinstripper; and a bummble bee.

Well I think it's about time to start this livejournal up again. I pretty much ignored it all summer and since I should be studying and being studious, what else would I do. Summer life was pretty good, school has even been okay, but this past week has been crap. Luckly, I'm okay about it because i will be fine again in like 4 hours when I'm in San Diego with the boy. I have sucessfully packed a table, glass top, and four chairs into the passat. Homegoods is a thing of the past, I am now a waitress. hah. or actually, "server" -- at Yamato restaurant. Come on by i'll sneak you some sushi. It's hard but I enjoy it and tips are a beautiful thing. I've had some insane things happen from being asked to join a married couple in a sexual romp to hearing from one of my friends' grandmother, that I "am engaged to be married to by long time boyfriend". Ahh Valencia. Brian Regan is next weekend. AIDS walk 2005 is coming. you should join and be on TEAM BRUNETTE with me =] Feist is also playing again and I refuse to miss them. im house sitting/dog watching. im writing a research paper. it sucks. melissa is sleeping over at the house im sitting. haha melissa is sleeping. im watching celebrity poker showdown contemplating sleep. summer and school do not go together. Melissa and i went swimming at 1am this morning and it was as fun as ever. we tried to drown ourselves but in a good way. I wish joel would have come over though. i feel like laughing and feeling him kiss me when i don't expect it. but enough day dreaming the sun is coming up and i still have a half written paper to do. p.s my aunt had twins. darren and sarah. full japanese babies. babysitting???

I'm bloated. Haha what a way to start off. Darn you Aunt Flow. Work sucked. He never called me back again. The only thing that is really looking up is the Rilo Kiley show on Sunday. Then seeing them again on Monday. But before I can even get to that I have my wonderful lab tomorrow morning at 8 AM and it will be going on until 2. Lovely. And how can I possibly top off a saturday morning class?? Why, by going straight to work at the beautiful Homegoods right after. "Can life get better? I submit that it cannot." Going to school over summer is stupid. But it helps in the long run or whatever people tell me. My Political Science teacher, Dr. Razmig, made me sound like an idiot in class the other day by telling my that Thoman Jefferson was not an Anti-federalist. (he was) and then saying that Madison was. (he wasnt) I dont exactly know whats going on there but a few kids gave me that "haha yeah you wish you knew what you were talking about"-look. Just what i needed =] I hope I see him tomorrow because I need a nice big hug. Back to my book of word puzzles. p.s - Dane Cook please come back to the Laugh Factory. p.p.s - What's with all the earthquakes recently?

we finally had our photoshoot. katrina's cousin got some great shots that i can't wait to see when he finishes with them. the whole day was the most fun i've had in a long time. even if you count the man in 7-11 that said "hey girl, when you come outside, i'm gonna holla at you". next weekend is joel = san diego = brian regan = hike? = more pictures. =]

Dane Cook was incredible. How does one get to be sooo funny? As great as it was, it only pumped me up more for October 8, 2005 - Brian Regan. Shut up, it will come fast. =] In other news, Glentrina and I have concluded that in the Summer of 2006 I will transfer to San Diego and we will live together and start our own business. Watch out.
